oh my. the first two were great but this is absolutely incredible. love all the green, and all those shades and layers overlapping. when are you two opening your etsy store? ;-)
Thankyou Tina, its great to have some input, as Anna has angst about what photograph to give me and I have the heebeejeebees about giving her photograph back ruined!
I really love the astringency of this. Astringency --is that the right word? The way the green and yellow creates a quenching in my mouth like lemon. The perfect physical accompaniment to the glass. Really beautiful.
Thankyou Craig, astringent is a great word. I was conflicted about putting another layer on it with some red to make it more palatable, less acidic. But I got scared and left it as it was!
tina, you are so sweet! and kate, no heebeeejeeebees, please. i love what you do; you reveal what i always wanted to say, but didn't know how. it's freaky. craig, thank you! i like the word astringency here and kate's layers are all lemony and tart and soft and fluid at the same time... like the sea.
Anna and I are in discussions over this because I've had a few requests too. So, if anyone would like an archival print of this, please contact either of us, or.... watch this space. K x
well you have your important business talk about this while we lean back, eat cake and wait for your store to open. oh what the hell, i'll flick you an email right now.
